Sbarro in Robinson's Place Manila

Sbarro is known for big size pizza. One sliced of their Chicago Deep Dish will surely make your tummy full. Moreover, You can really taste the Italian flavor with every pizza and pasta that you order. Sbarro is not all about pizza and pasta. They also have dessert like salad, cake and fruit delights. You can also enjoy their chicken meals which have a taste really different from what Filipinos know about chicken. They don't just have fried chicken but also sauced chicken.

Ok! Let's finish the introduction and move to the real deal. Today, I'm going to say something about the pizza and pasta i ordered yesterday at Sbarro. Bear with me guys, I'm not really a food critic. :)

Chicago Deep Dish is the largest part on the upper part

Let's start with the Chicago Deep Dish All Meat which will cost you 172 pesos per slice. For a regular guy like me, one slice is more than enough specially if you order pasta with it. Chicago Deep Dish All Meat is different from other pizza that I have tasted before. First, It's a stuff pizza, its way too thick compare with other pizza. It also comes with a meat sauce, this meat sauce is different from the tomato sauce which is use as the first coating of any pizza. The meat sauce is actually put before they reheat the pizza. On the top part of the pizza you can just see the cheese and the tomato sauce that was used and the of course the meat sauce. However, if you look inside the stuff part, you can see the ground beef and i think, some mushroom, ham and other meat which is not familiar to me but they really taste good. If you enjoy spicy pizza you can use their hot sauce and their dry pepper with is a very good match though you can't really taste the dry pepper. Last, I think, this is just my opinion, ok? :) Its the only pizza that I couldn't eat the crust, you know, the hard part of a pizza, maybe because before I can try to eat it, I'm already full or, it's just too hard for me to eat it. :) This pizza is 10/10

Chicago Deep Dish White is the only whtie pizza in the picture

Chicago Deep Dish White is almost similar to Chicago Deep Dish All Meat. It's also stuff and big. :) it also cost the same way as its brother, 172 pesos. However, you can easily guess the difference by its name. Chicag0 Deep Dish White use white sause instead of tomato sauce. Moreover, the stuff part of Chicago White is mainly ham, mushroom and it think some pineapple. Kinda like the Hawaiian style pizza. I don't know exactly because my baby ordered it yestereday and I just tried it. The weird thing about the Chicago white, is that when the cheese on the top of it already dried up, it doesn't look good to it. It's kinda like an egg or something though it still tastes good. Like the Chicago Deep Dish All Meat, it also has a hard crust which I think it is not really conducive for eating. :) But you can try eating it. My rating for this pizza is 8/10

You can see in this picture the left over spaghetti, the fruit salad, and the two drinks. The empty plate was the Chicago Deep Dish All Meat. You can also see the Chicago Deep Dish that my baby ordered. He's not yet done eating it :)

I also tried the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce which will cost you 87 pesos for half serving. I tell you half serving is more than enough if you are going to ordered a slice of pizza. :) It really taste Italian. Kinda a little sour and salty. Maybe some Filipinos won't like it because they prefer sweet spaghetti like those in Jollibee. However, for me, it's taste good but not better than the Oven Baked Spaghetti of Don Henricos. :) I don't know but, its pasta is kinda feels like a little uncooked. It's kinda hard but maybe that's the way it supposed to be. Jollibee and McDonald's Spaghetti is much softer which have really good feel when you eat it. Another comment about the spaghetti is that its kinda like with soup. it has a watery part which might be caused by the pasta itself when they get it from the tray. It's still tolerable. I will give 9 out of 10 with the sauce. It really has meat not just tomato sauce unlike some other fast food spaghetti. :)

Lastly, we ate fruit salad as our dessert. The fruit salad mainly contains of slices of watermelon, oranges, mango and some pieces of grapes. Unlike what I know about fruit salad, it doesn't have any mayonnaise. However, that one might be the real fruit salad. :) Actually, when my mom makes fruit salad, it has buko and mayonnaise. :) Maybe this is Filipino style. :)

Inside Sbarro Robinson's Place

All in all, Sbarro's Italian Food really taste good. You will never leave the place without a full tummy. :) I also think that the prize is just right. 500 pesos for a dinner for two is really cheap for a true Italian food. You'll surely be satisfied with it, if you like Italian style pizza and pasta. :)
